불안 감정에 대한 매체적 특성과 색채 표현 - 본인 작품을 중심으로

초록

This study is a practice-based visual inquiry that explores how anxiety repeatedly experienced under so — cial norms and disciplinary control can be visualized through transiti — ons in media, color, and compositional structure. The three media used between 2020 and 2025 clay modeling, mixed coloring on — Korean paper, and stop-motion video each correspond — to stages of emotional experience: avoidance, confrontation, and rupture. The study aims to analyze how media and color shift and become structurally reorganized in response to emotional change, ultimately expanding the possibilities of representing anxiety in visual art. The research is grounded in Michel Foucault’s concept of the disciplinary gaze and Carl Jung’s theory of the shadow. It employs visual analysis of the artist’s own works to examine the formal characteristics of each medium and the emotional functions of color. Integrating theories of color psychology, audiovisual rhythm, and experimental studies, the study interprets the relationship between emotion, color, and media not as a fixed mapping but as an organic and dynamic structure.
