The relationship between exo-electron currents and statistical delay is examined at the pixels of alternating currents plasma display panels. The delay was described using a reciprocal function of exo-electron emission current, irrespective of MgO nanopowder coating on MgO thin film. Shorter discharge delays in a panel with MgO nanopowder coating is mainly due to increased exoelectron currents associated with the coating. Dependence of the delays on panel temperature is examined as well in this paper.
