초록

Previous studies have focused on the forward and backward (one-dimensional) frictional slide based on the assumption that the contact displacement coincides with the external load in the tangential direction. In general, three-dimensional geometries, the contact displacement is extended to a two-dimensional plane, such that existing theories cannot be used. In this study, a computational model capable of tracking the plane contact behavior between a three-dimensional elastic body and a rigid body is proposed. By tracking the evolution of tractions in the frictional contact, energy dissipation characteristics are analyzed as a function of the friction coefficient. The proposed computational model is expected to be used for designing friction dampers and to deal with general three-dimensional external loading problems.
