도시재생과 로컬콘텐츠 정책의 통합적 접근: 세종 조치원 사례를 중심으로

Jochiwon-eup, the ‘historic town center’ incorporated into Sejong City in 2012, has benefitted significantly from urban regeneration initiatives and local content programs intended to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. Even so, Jochiwon is experiencing significant population and economic decline as many of its administrative and commercial functions were relocated to Sejong City. This study examines the implementation characteristics and current status of urban regeneration and local content initiatives, focusing on Jochiwon, and analyzes the practical linkage mechanisms and integrated approaches between these two programs. Ultimately, based on these findings, it aims to explore effective strategies for connecting the two initiatives and propose a new policy model for sustainable revitalization of declining urban centers. This research explores the linkages across four dimensions: policy objectives, implementation mechanisms, governance structures, and outcomes. Based on these findings, the study proposes establishing a loose collaboration system, creating continuous university–community cooperation structures for integrated linkage between urban regeneration and local content initiatives.
