초록
This study examined how agentic framing (system-led, driver-choice, and collaborative) in non-urgent Take-Over Request (TOR) messages of Level 3 (L3) autonomous driving affects drivers' Sense of Agency (SoA) and Behavioral Intention (BI) to reuse the autonomous function. Forty-one licensed drivers (N = 41) participated in a within-subjects video experiment conducted from April 23 to May 15, 2026, and the data were analyzed with RM-ANOVA, Judd–Kenny within-subjects mediation, and Cochran's Q. First, SoA tended to be highest in the driver-choice condition. Second, SoA mediated BI; however, this mediation was robust only on the driver-choice versus system-led path and was not significant for the collaborative-transition path. Third, reactivation rates also differed significantly across conditions, being lowest in the system-led condition. Taken together, this study suggests the driver-choice framing as a default for non-urgent TOR messages in next-generation Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) infotainment systems, while the effect of the collaborative-transition framing should be interpreted as exploratory because it did not meet the manipulation-check criterion.
