A Study on the Improvement of Indoor Thermal and Air Environment Made by Ceiling Cassette Type Cooling and Heating Unit in Classrooms

초록

Ceilingcassettetypeairconditionerhasbeenamainstream asaheating/coolingsystem recentlyinschool,Korea.Inthisstudy,indoorthermalenvironmentsmadebyceilingcassettetypeairconditionerwereinvestigated byCFD simulation.ConcentrationsofCO2wereinvestigatedbyafieldmeasurement.Indoorthermalenvironment withthevelocityinletangleof45°from theceilinginheatingseasonwasveryununiform sothatthermalarea wasdividedintotwopartsthosetheoneiswindow sidewhichiscold,andtheotheriscorridorsidewhichis hot.Incoolingseasonunderthesamecondition,thereareareastoohotortoocold.Ifthevelocityinletangleis setin 30°from theceiling,indoorthermalenvironmentswasimprovedgreatly in cooling season andheating season,too.Also,from thefieldmeasurementofCO2 concentrations,itwassuggestedtoinstallventilatorswith properairvolumeconsideredthenumberofclassstudents.
