Typojanchi has evolved beyond the realm of design into a cultural platform addressing themes such as script, language, sensory experience, and media for the past two decades. Each exhibition, while engaging with the discourse and social sensibilities of its time, formed a distinct curatorial configuration through which questions of lettered culture were articulated. The ‘questions’, in this text, are not merely descriptive words that explain the theme of each exhibition, but rather interpretive mediators the users encounter and use as interpretive anchors during their experience of Typojanchi. As a result, many of these questions remained unstructured and were implicitly confined to the curatorial proposals of individual exhibitions. Attention is given to how questions surrounding Typojanchi, long lacking a clearly articulated structure and largely existing as curatorial language, came into being within each exhibition. For this reason, attention is placed on the questions themselves — how they take shape through exhibition practices, how they relate to what is presented, and whether they continue to resonate beyond a single exhibition. The perspective of Question–Relation–Extension (Q–R–X) is used simply as a way of following these movements rather than as a fixed analytical scheme. Based on these findings, the study proposes a structure for visualizing the flow of questions, a documentation framework for tracking deferred questions, and a metadata structure capable of accommodating sensory practices. Through this analysis, the study demonstrates that questions generated through the repetition of exhibitions can be transformed into conditions that constitute interpretive possibilities and sensory contexts, suggesting the potential of a structural approach to genealogizing exhibitions through documentation.
