체코어 외래어 표기법의 문제점과 대안

초록

This study discusses problems of the current Czech Hangeulization System and provides an alternative version to it by correcting errors and provide a supplementary information. Scrutiny of the structure and contents of the Czech Hangeulization System poses problems in providing proper hangeul notation of Czech words. This study prioritizes sound, or phonetic realization, to scripts in organizing hangulization system. It also prioritizes phonetic realization to phonemic representation in providing a hangeul notation of Czech sounds. It takes regular phonological processes into consideration, such as consonant cluster voicing, nasal place assimilation, and palatalization, which are missing in the current Czech Hangeulization System that includes only word-final devoicing of obstruents and consonant cluster devoicing. This study is significant in that it compares the current Czech Hangeulization System and its revised version that accommodates correction and supplement.
