초록

This study explores the enhancement of multilayer LED structures by employing wavelength-dependent reflectors (WDRs), such as distributed Bragg reflectors (DBRs), to control the optimal cavity length at specific wavelengths. By precisely adjusting the cavity dimensions, we focused on optimizing the emission efficiencies for three primary colors within the visible spectrum. Leveraging the reflective properties of WDRs, significant performance improvements were achieved. Post-optimization efficiencies were recorded at 82.94% for red, 84.53% for green, and 80.61% for blue. These values represent at least a 13.1% increase over the efficiencies typically achieved when LEDs are optimized for a single color. This methodology of adjusting cavity lengths via WDRs illustrates a robust strategy to achieve balanced color output and superior overall performance in LED designs.
