≪莊子≫“畸人”形象考辨

초록

Jiren is the one of the image system of Zhuangzi. As the name implies, Jiren refers to some people with physical disability or abnormality. There are ten image series of Jiren whose physical disability and abnormality mentioned definitely and described in detail in the text of Zhuangzi. Based on the disability conditions, Jiren can be divided into two categories: one is the people whose foot is mutilated and the other is the people with physical deformities such as rickets. In Zhuangzi, these images have different rank and social position. Through their words and deeds, Zhuangzi explained his “dao(道)” and “de(德)” in his book. About the nature of Jiren image, there is a view that Jiren is wizard in the academic circles. Through the textual research, we can find that there is no natural connection between Jiren and wizard, and if we had studied on their responsibility, this would be especially true. so I don‘t think that Jiren is wizard, I don’t doubt or deny the original meaning of Jiren‘s name, I would like to emphasize the meaning in the text.
