참조문법에서의 어말어미 기술에 대하여

초록

The aim of this paper is to discuss the descriptions about the word final endings in Korean language which are found in reference grammars such as Sohn(1999), Martin(1992), Chang(1996) and Ramstedt(1935). Ramstedt(1935) has a feature of describing Korean in accordance with the inflectional language, but many of the language phenomena that were described in Ramstedt(1935) are different from those of the contemporary Korean language. Martin(1992) also presented a lot of historical Korean phenomena. The reference grammars except for Ramstedt(1935) present the sequence of the endings and analytically describe the endings. A detailed analysis of the endings should add work to describe the coocurrence constraints between them. But the reference grammars analyzed in this paper did not provide precise information on coocurrence constraints. In addition, the analytic approach to the endings has become similar to historical description.
