초록
SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) is a software architecture based on loosly-coupled, reusable service components for integrating distributed applications in EAI, B2C, B2Bi, and supply chain integration. Web services are the most common way to realize SOA. WS-BPEL (Web Services - Business Process Execution Language) is a standard for integrating and coordinating interactions between Web services by specifying business processes. That is, WS-BPEL is a process-centric realization of SOA and Web services composition. Web services compositon is performed in two ways, orchestration and choreography. WS-BPEL supports orchestration by executable process and choreography by abstract process. Although most of the literature focused on the intra-enterprise orchestration between an executable BPEL process and involved Web services, research on the inter-enterprise choreography between the different abstract BPEL processes in the supply chain is scarce. This paper defines BPEL processes and WSDL (Web Service Description Language) files for a SOA-based purchase order processing integration between customer and supplier by the inter-enterprise choreography between the different abstract BPEL processes. This paper can contribute to the integration of other supply chain processes because the mechanisms in this study for defining BPEL processes and WSDLs for the SOA-based process integration can be applicable to them.
