몰입형 디지털미디어아트 전시의 조형·체험적 구조와 운영 관리 쟁점 연구-teamLab SuperNature Macao 사례를 바탕으로-

Immersive digital media art exhibitions have rapidly emerged as a new formative language integrating projection mapping, algorithm-generated imagery, sensor-based interaction, and large-scale spatial design. While existing scholarship has focused primarily on visitor experience and aesthetic properties, research integrating formative structure with operational management remains limited. This study classifies the formative and experiential structures of immersive digital media art exhibitions, identifies the operational issues they structurally generate, and proposes an integrated analytical framework for exhibition planning and management. A mixed-methods approach combining literature review, case study, and a three-round Delphi survey was employed, using teamLab SuperNature Macao as the primary case. Five field visits were conducted between 2024 and 2025, and a ten-member expert panel spanning intellectual property law, data protection, digital media technology, and arts management participated in the Delphi process. Four core formative elements were identified—projection-based spatial rendering, algorithm-generated imagery, sensor-driven interaction, and three-dimensional spatial composition—each structurally coupled with corresponding operational domains including contractual structures, intellectual property rights, visitor data protection, and spatial safety. The technical rider emerged as a pivotal instrument translating formative intent into enforceable obligations when integrated with IP agreements and privacy policies. This study argues that formative design and operational management must be treated as structurally interdependent from the earliest planning stages, and calls for legal standards better suited to technology-driven exhibitions.
