초록
This study explores regional areas as new spaces for humane living at the intersection of two crises: the post-work era transition driven by AI and regional depopulation. To this end, based on the theoretical foundations of tangible and intangible local resources, taste communities, and relational population theory, this study compares and analyzes cases of Japan's Muji, Low Altitude Flight, and D&Department with those of Korea's Yangyang Surfyy Beach, Gongju Jeminchon, and Seongsu-dong in Seoul. Based on this, it presents strategic implications and alternatives applicable from the perspective of Korean public design. This study proposes four public design strategies: narrative-based local design, community-centered structure, sustainable operational models, and balanced publicness and autonomy.
